Bayer Leverkusen star reveals Kai Havertz's transfer dream amid Chelsea and Man United links

Kai Havertz "dreams" of a move to the Premier League, according to his Bayer Leverkusen teammate Wendell.

The Leverkusen midfielder is reportedly wanted by several top clubs across Europe this summer, after his impressive displays in the Bundesliga.

Havertz has scored 16 goals in 41 appearances this season, which has alerted the likes of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Chelsea.

The Blues have already sealed deals for striker Timo Werner and playmaker Hakim Ziyech, but Frank Lampard is reportedly keen on another attacking midfielder, with Havertz fitting the bill.

And Leverkusen left-back Wendell Nascimento Borges believes his teammate is itching for a move to England.

“Psychologically, the Germans are very focused people," Wendell said, as quoted by Yellow and Green Football.

"They are very concentrated on what they want. If he goes to the Premier League, he will learn a lot.

"I think Kai dreams of playing there. He has that desire. And I think if he decides to play in England, he will be a success.”

Wendell also hailed Havertz's versatility, and his ability to play in a number of positions.

“He’s a complete player. If you play him as a No.9 or as a No.10 a little bit behind, or if you put him out wide, he’ll know what to do.

"He has a facility to understand what the manager wants. He finishes well with both feet. He’s strong with his head, he has good technique."
