Yakatabune pleasure boats light their lanterns to honor the efforts of medical workers fighting against the novel coronavirus epidemic at Odaiba Marine Park in Minato Ward, Tokyo, on Friday. Pleasure boats are a familiar sight on Tokyo's waterways in the summer, but yakatabune reservations have plummeted this year due to the pandemic. "I can't wait for the coronavirus epidemic to end and the Olympics to start," said yakatabune owner Kenji Niikura, 57.
