Regions and players
Battlefield REDSEC Elite Series is a series of weekly cash cups held across three regions: The Americas, EMEA, and APAC. For the first series, EA invited 50 team captains per region who assembled their squads, resulting in a total of 600 competitors.
Format
Each region’s squads compete in a series of six REDSEC Battle Royale matches. The top eight teams advance to the elimination-style Gauntlet. This format repeats across three qualifying days, with teams earning Elite Series points based on performance. After three qualifying days, the top 25 teams advance to the regional finals.
The Elite Series’ version of the Gauntlet focuses on specific map and mode combinations and has an extended round timer.
Prize pool
The season one Elite Series features a $1 million prize pool across the regional finals, as well as additional prizes for qualifying days. The Americas have $50,000 for each qualifying day and $500,000 for squads that reached the Gauntlet finals. The APAC and EMEA have $20,000 for each qualifying day and $285,000 for the Gauntlet finals.
