What is BF6 RedSec?
By this point, you’re probably well aware of what to expect from Battlefield 6’s battle royale mode, RedSec. EA is intentionally keeping most major details under wraps, aiming for a surprise launch. Nevertheless, we already know quite a few things about the mode, as EA shared some information during its testing stage.
EA claims this will be “the deadliest ring in BR,” instantly killing players upon even the slightest contact. There are no workarounds; the only way to survive is to push deeper into the map, where intense firefights await. The games will feature 100 players, divided into 25 squads of four. When it comes to communication, you can talk with your teammates via VoIP, text, and pings.
Of course, since this is a Battlefield game, you can expect plenty of tactical destruction across the map. Show your creativity by demolishing structures in ways even the developers didn’t anticipate. Given the map’s scale, expect a wide range of vehicles at launch: from standard transports to powerful armored units that can be unlocked later in the game.
