Battlefield 6 PC requirements: Minimum and recommended specs

Excitement around Battlefield 6 is already in full swing, even though the game hasn’t hit shelves yet. With the multiplayer gameplay reveal hinting at intense, large-scale warfare, and a fresh level of realism, it’s natural to wonder if your PC can handle all the action when launch day arrives.

Whether you just plan to join friends for some casual matches or want to be ready for full-throttle multiplayer chaos as soon as the Battlefield 6 servers go live, making sure your hardware measures up is an important part of pre-game prep. Maybe you’ve seen the early trailers or caught wind of the game’s ambitious graphics, and you want your experience to be just as stunning as the previews, minus pesky performance hiccups or long loading screens.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Battlefield 6 PC system requirements.

These are the specifications you need to run Battlefield 6 at 1080p and 30 frames per second at the lowest in-game settings:

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 or Intel Core i5-8400
  • RAM: 16GB
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT 6GB or Nvidia RTX 2060
  • DirectX version: 12
  • Storage: 55 GB (HDD supported, SSD recommended)

Installing the game on an SSD will massively boost loading times, giving you a much better in-game experience. It will also ensure a faster loading of in-game environments and assets to make the gameplay experience much smoother.

Battlefield 6 recommended specs

If you want to see everything Battlefield 6 has to offer, with every particle effect, richly detailed environment, and smooth gameplay even at 4K resolution, you’ll need a seriously powerful gaming setup. While EA’s recommended specs are ideal for most players running the game at high settings and standard resolutions, pushing the upcoming title to 4K requires latest top of the line hardware.

A graphics card like the NVIDIA RTX 4090, combined with a capable processor such as the AMD Ryzen 7 series, is a combination built for this level of performance. These components ensure you’re not just meeting the recommended bar, but surpassing it for truly top-tier visuals and frame rates.

With this kind of high-end build, you can expect Battlefield 6 to deliver incredibly detailed graphics, fast load times, and buttery-smooth action, even during the most intense multiplayer firefights. If playing on ultra settings at 4K is your goal, this is the class of equipment you’ll want for the ultimate Battlefield experience.

However, here’s EA’s list of recommended specifications for Battlefield 6 to play it at 1440p and 60 frames per second on high settings:

  • OS: Windows 11 64-bit
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or Intel Core i7-10700
  • RAM: 16GB
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6700-XT or Nvidia RTX 3060Ti
  • DirectX version: 12
  • Storage: 80 GB (SSD required)
