According to the Battlefield 6 and REDSEC Season 1 roadmap, the free trial will run from Nov. 25, at 6am CT / 4am PT / 7am ET / 12pm GMT to Dec. 2, at the same time, giving you a full week to drop into the chaos and see what BF6 is all about.

BF6 free trial maps and modes

EA has confirmed that the free trial features three maps and three playlists that cover five game modes. The map rotation includes:

  • Initiation Breakthrough (48-player and bot multiplayer experience)
  • Team Tactical Modes: Sabotage and Team Deathmatch
  • All-out Warfare: Conquest, Escalation, and Breakthrough

How to play Battlefield 6 for free

You can jump into the BF6 free trial by downloading the free-to-play Battlefield REDSEC on whatever platform you prefer.

If you’re already playing REDSEC, all your progress, including your Career Rank, Hardware Unlocks and Levels, and customization items will automatically carry over into the free trial. Everything you earn during the free week will also transfer to the full Battlefield 6 once you purchase it, so this is your chance to try it out and keep every bit of progress you make.
