Battersea's Muddy Dog Challenge coming to Newcastle for first time - here's how to register

Do you and your four-legged furry friend have what it takes to jump, crawl and wade through an obstacle course?

Well, now is your chance as The Muddy Dog Challenge comes to Newcastle for the first time on Saturday, October 5.

Raising cash for Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, participants can take on a 2.5km or 5km dog-friendly obstacle run at Newcastle Racecourse in Gosforth.

People can either enter by themselves, with a dog or take on the course as a family.

Jasmine Monk, Battersea’s Challenge events officer, said: “We’re really looking forward to bringing the Muddy Dog Challenge to Newcastle this year and welcoming lots of dogs and their owners.

"It’s a wonderful day of people coming together making memories and all to raise money for the thousands of animals looking for homes."

The charity is also looking for volunteers to get involved.

To register for Muddy Dog Challenge Newcastle, visit https://muddydog.battersea.org.uk

Registration will close on Sunday, September 15 at 11.30pm.
