Battered roll, chips, cheese and curry served up by Clydebank chippy

Looking for some scran this Friday night? Perhaps after tough week of work you just want to pig out? We might have found the ultimate food guilty pleasure, just a short drive (or sail) away from Glasgow.

That's because McMonagle's Boat, the world's first sail thru fish and chip shop, is serving up battered rolls with chips, cheese and curry - all your late-night drunk food favourites.

The one-of-a-kind chippy, which is docked on the Forth & Clyde Canal at Clydebank, shared a video of chefs putting together their uniquely Scottish culinary creation earlier this week after customers made a 'special request' for the delicacy last month.

And while we can't quite vouch for the health benefits of this particular menu item, we're willing to guarantee your £3.50 dinner investment will be well worth it.

The McMonagle's team commented: "Due to very popular demand we are now doing a BATTERED roll and chips with cheese n curry in it.

"And it’s delicious.

"This can be ordered at the takeaway or through the phone only, not available on just eat or our website."

To order one and to see more of McMonagles' brilliant and fish and chip suppers, you can visit their website here.
