'Batmobile' spotted in Glasgow before filming of The Batman starts on city streets

Anticipation among movie-lovers and basically anyone who's ever had a popcorn at the pictures is at fever pitch in Glasgow at the moment as we await filming to commence of The Batman.

Info is still thin on the ground as to where and when exactly film crews and the likes of Robert Pattinson, Zoe Kravitz and Colin Farrell will be heading this way.

In the meantime, we can use our imaginations as to which roofs or buildings we might see the Caped Crusader battle the bad guys on.

With that being said, some people have spotted what can only be regarded as a 'Glesga batmobile' driving on the M74 as we await the real deal making its (rumoured) appearance.

The blacked-out motor, which looks like a souped-up Ford Fiesta, has the bat-sign on the sides and on the mud flaps.

With a yellow spoiler and 'protect the city' written on the rear - as well as a GCPD (Gotham City Police Department) on the back bumper.

It looks like it might be the work of a Dark Knight superfan, and someone with cash to burn also.

We wonder if, also, they might have any 'weans' in the back!
