Batman has been spotted on top of Liverpool’s Liver Building shooting scenes for the forthcoming movie.

A body double for the film’s lead actor, Robert Pattinson, was seen leaning toward the edge of the monument while suspended by wires.

This isn’t the first time fans have gotten a behind-the-scenes look at The Batman. The film has been shooting in various locations in the UK, including in Glasgow’s Necropolis cemetery.

Recently, the film’s stars – Pattinson, Zoe Kravitz (Catwoman) and Colin Farrell looking unrecognisable in costume as Oswald Cobblepot – were spotted shooting a scene in Liverpool’s St George’s Hall, which looked to be set in the aftermath of a funeral.

Details on Matt Reeves’ superhero reboot are sparse, with the plot of The Batman being kept under wraps.

Production is well underway after it was forced to pause when Pattinson tested positive for coronavirus in early September.

It was confirmed in late September that filming had restarted, with the actor having tested negative for the illness.

Filming on the highly anticipated movie was previously suspended for six months amid the first outbreak of Covid-19 worldwide.

The Batman will be released on 4 March 2022, after its previous 2021 release date was pushed back earlier this month.
