Batista entrance botch as WWE superstar falls over before WrestleMania 35 match vs Triple H

Batista had an embarrassing botch during his WrestleMania entrance - and FELL into the ring.

The WWE legend was making his way to the ring ahead of his brutal match with Triple H at the Showcase of Immortals.

Batista was escorted to the ring by guards after being driven to the stage on a 4x4 truck, with pyrotechnics sent the crowds crazy.

It was a spectacular entrance until an equally as eye-catching mistake, as he stumbled into the ring.

Normally one of the most simple parts of any entrance, Batista got his footing wrong and fell through the ropes.

However, the veteran styled it out and coolly continued with his emphatic entrance, before Triple H made his way to the ring.

Fans found his botch hilarious, with one tweeting: "Batista is showing no signs of ring rust. Well except for the fact he tripped over the bloody ropes getting to the ring."

The extreme no-holds-barred match which followed the entrances ensured that fans quickly forgot about the incident in a hurry.

In a brutal twist, Triple H ripped Batista's nose piercing right out off his face, then showed it off as if it was a trophy.

Later, Batista was speared through an announce table at the second time of asking, after the first table failed to break as the pair landed on it.

Triple H went on to win the match after utilising a sledgehammer, with the assistance of Ric Flair, to claim victory.
