Batches of pesto sauces sold across Ireland recalled over peanut fears

A popular brand of pesto sauces sold across Ireland have been recalled over peanut fears.

Sacla is recalling the products as they may contain peanuts, which are not mentioned on the label.

Ten batches of the product are covered by the alert, with details listed in full below.

A Food Safety Authority of Ireland spokesman said: "Sacla is recalling its Pesto sauces because they may contain peanuts which are not mentioned on the label.

The products affected by the recall. (FSAI)

"This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to peanuts."
