Bastille star Dan Smith has shockingly said he "can't sing" - despite being the successful band's lead singer for a decade and counting.
The Pompeii hitmaker, 33, spoke to Radio 1 host Clara Amfo about how he's getting on amid lockdown, but quickly felt the need to give his opinion on his vocals.
He revealed: "I literally can't sing."
To which shocked Clara responded: "Can't sing? Says the lead singer of a very successful band..."
Before the band's frontman said: "I can't sing. It's a nightmare."
Despite his own critiquing, Dan's vocals have bagged him a very successful career in the music industry.

The singer formed Bastille as a solo project - but later decided to expand it into a band, recruiting Chris Wood, Will Farquarson and Kyle Simmons to join.
The talented four-some, composed of Dan Smith, Chris Wood, Kyle Simmons and Will Farquarson, won the Brit award for British Breakthrough Act, and have seen bits including Bad Blood and Pompeii soar at the top of the charts.

The London-based indie band burst onto the scene in 2012 but barely made a mark with their first two singles reaching just 90 and 21 in the UK charts.
Then in 2013, they found their sound with the release of Pompeii which hit number two.
Their debut album Bad Blood then shot to number one and has garnered hugely positive reviews.

A sold out UK tour came next and their music has been featured on TV shows across the world.
The British band went on to win countless awards and accolades for its hits - including one Brit award, two NME awards and a Teen Choice award.

Bastille was also heavily praised for singing last year's John Lewis Christmas Advert song Can't Fight This Feeling.
And if that's not enough, Bastille's songs were also played on New Years Eve as the country reeled in 2020.
