Bastian Schweinsteiger has claimed Liverpool have 'philosophy and vision' unlike Manchester United.
United suffered a humiliating 5-0 defeat against Liverpool on Sunday afternoon - the biggest away win in the fixture's history.
External pressure has built on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in recent weeks after his side slumped to multiple underwhelming results caused by unconvincing performances, but now serious questions are being asked of the United boss after Sunday's heavy defeat.
Schweinsteiger has always spoken highly of United, however, he's now offered a scathing assessment of where the club is.
The German admitted that the 5-0 defeat wasn't a surprise before also claiming that Liverpool showed United 'the difference'.
"A devastating day for all supporters and the club," Schweinsteiger wrote on social media.
"But it didn’t come out of nowhere. It was not a surprise.
"Liverpool showed them the difference, which is huge - having a philosophy & vision.
"Congrats, Liverpool. Hopefully United will get back very soon."
