A real blast from the past is on its way to Edinburgh next summer, with the announcement that the soundtrack to many 2000s kids' school discos, Basshunter, is returning to the capital.
Following on from his sell-out tour last year, the Swedish DJ is giving Dance fans the chance to relive the glory days with a live performance at La Belle Angele in the Old Town on Sunday, July 2.
The Euro-pop star, real name Jonas Erik Altberg, will be performing famous hits like Now You're Gone and All I Ever Wanted along with the anthem Angel in the Night.

Having sold more than six million records, won a number of awards, and even appearing on Celebrity Big Brother, he's now back on tour, bringing his unique brand of night-out nostalgia to Edinburgh.
Posting about the event on Facebook, the team behind his tour wrote: "The most successful euro-pop act of the 2000s with EIGHT consecutive UK chart entries over 3 years, Basshunter doesn't come to the UK often and when he does... believe us, you guys are in for a treat!"
The over 18 late-night event runs from 11 pm til 3 am, with tickets starting at £13 (plus booking fee), which can be bought from the Skiddle website.
