Bartender left in stitches after hilarious discovery inside lost and found handbag

There's nothing like ending a boozy night out with heading straight to the nearest takeaway shop to satisfy those alcohol-fuelled cravings. However, it seems one clever person could not wait for the night to end and instead found a way to enjoy some chips while still in a nightclub.

Staff members at Atik nightclub in Wrexham, Wales were left in stitches after a hilarious discovery was found inside a handbag that was handed into lost and found. A woman behind the bar took a look inside to check for ID but was left in fits of laughter when she found handfuls of chips instead, the Liverpool ECHO reports.

The amused bartender took to the club's official Tiktok account to share her findings. In the viral video which has now received over 220k views, she explained: "Okay so someone just handed this cute little bag into the bar.

"So I thought I’d have a little look and see if there's an ID in there or anything like that and it's just full of chips [laughter]." Social media users were loving the video as some said they want to be friends with the owner of the handbag.

One person wrote: "Can you give her my number plz, this is my people." While another added: "You know some girl's crying in the back of the taxi about leaving them behind."

Somebody else joked: "planning to use chip n pin instead of cash."

However, it seems the owner of the handbag is not the only one that brings snacks in their bag on a night out.

Another commenter confessed: "Last time I went out I stuffed 2 cheese burgers In my bag from mcds."
