Detroit Lions fans who make the trip this week to Las Vegas for the 2022 NFL draft just might have a brush with team royalty. Hall of Fame running back Barry Sanders will be on hand to announce the Lions’ second-round pick, along with actor Keegan-Michael Key.
The NFL often has guest presenters for the draft selections beyond the first round. Sanders and Key, a proud Detroit native, will mark the first duo to represent the Lions and welcome the newest member of the team to the den.
The team revealed the celebrity pickers for the second round on Instagram,
Detroit is currently slated to have just one pick in the second round, No. 34 overall. But if the team trades back into the round, Sanders and Key will also reveal that pick too.
