Why we all love Christmas and LOTS of eating, drinking and generally being merry, doing just that does, more often that not, lead to some pretty brutal hangovers.
But, hot on the heels of its Consett's own Aladdin's cave of discounts - Barry's Bargain Superstore - is selling a product which claims to be 'a tried and tested' hangover cure.
The reaction to Barry's Molton Brown offers was huge, so much so that the shop had to limit the items to four per customer ahead of many other stores slashing their prices for Black Friday.
While, always VERY cheap, Barry's has upped the ante ahead of the bumper shopping day and another product which has had an equally big reaction is Simpkins All Natural Tried & Tested Hangover Drops, which Barry's has on sale for just 60p.
The tin reads 'All natural glucose drops blended with fruits of the forest natural flavourings and Ginseng extract for a truly welcoming pick me up.
'Proudly made for three generations in Yorkshire, England'.
The drops have already gathered loads of comments. One shopper keen on snapping some up, said "think I need to have a night out soon to give these a try," with another in agreement reacting "we could of done with some of these for Benidorm."
A top fan of Barry's gets the award for the best comment though, posting "I didn’t believe in god until Barry’s came along."
