Barry O'Hanlon sensationally leaves Fair City after Denzo Bishop returns to Carrigstown

There's a dramatic twist in Fair City this week as Barry O'Hanlon leaves Carrigstown.

As Paul gets ready to have his revenge on Fiona, Barry decides he has enough of them and he departs.

Fiona, given an out by Paul, fails to come clean about her money laundering as her web of lies continues to spin.

Trying to keep him on side, Fiona tells Barry the laundering is over, RSVP Live reports.

Barry is left angry when Paul makes a joke at his expense and Paul tells Barry to blackmail Fiona as his plan goes into full swing.

Once again, Barry tries to speak to Paul about his actions but he fails to make Paul see the error of his ways.

Then, the action takes another turn when Barry tells Fiona they need to make one last transaction.

Elsewhere in Carrigstown, Aaron worries Phoebe has found someone new when she begins acting strange.

As a result, Alex hatches a plan to spend more time with Dearbhla but his actions are noticed by Juliet and she warns Alex off Dearbhla.

Undeterred, Alex puts a business idea into action in a bid to woo Dearbhla as he ignores what Juliet said.

Following their recent tension over baby Olivia, Sash begins to soften towards Orla after learning that Junior has taken a turn for the worse as his health continues to deteriorate rapidly.

Orla and Wayne reconcile at home when Sash decides to let them mind Olivia for an afternoon.

Also on the show, Hayley warns Yates to be on his best behaviour when they both have dinner with Ger.

Things go well between them but it is soon discovered that Dean has been helping in the kitchen.
