Hollywood star Barry Keoghan has said he would love to work with Cian Fitzsimons after seeing him in Kin.
The 23-year-old’s character Jamie Kinsella, met a gruesome end in the first episode of the RTE gangland series.
In his debut role, the Dubliner impressed the stellar cast including Aidan Gillen and Emmet J Scanlan for his “pure” performance.
And it appears Barry feels the same way, saying he’d love to work with Cian.
The star previously said he hopes to follow in the Dunkirk star’s footsteps, who made his way to Hollywood from humble beginnings on Love/Hate.
Cian said: “Barry Keoghan would be someone I’d like to emulate, he’s so close to me in age.”
Barry responded: “Cian Fitzsimons, was watching you last night and would be a pleasure to work with you.
“Brilliant brother.”
The 28-year-old is gearing up for the release of Marvel flick The Eternals in November, in which he stars alongside Angelina Jolie, Kit Harrington and Richard Madden.
The Dubliner has also appeared in the The Killing of a Sacred Deer, for which he won an IFTA for Best Supporting Actor.
Keoghan is currently filming in Galway for Martin McDonagh’s The Banshees of Inisherin where he’ll be acting alongside Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson.
Last month he was reportedly left with facial injuries after being a victim of assault. He was then taken by ambulance to Galway University Hospital for treatment before later being released.
