Warrenpoint Town have appointed former boss Barry Gray as manager following the departure of Stephen McDonnell.
The Milltown club announced on Wednesday that they had 'parted ways' with McDonnell.
It follows what has been a disappointing start to the season for the Co Down club who sit rock bottom of the NIFL Premiership .
Gray took Warrenpoint from junior football to the top flight during a decade in charge, operating as both manager and director of football before stepping aside in October 2016.
He was then appointed manager of Cliftonville in June 2017 before his sacking in January this year.
Connaire McGreevy, the club's managing director, said: "This appointment is about stability following a rough start to the league campaign.
“Barry has been here before and got the t-shirt and knows full well the battle we face to get competitive in this league.
“The work going on behind the scenes to transform the club continues but it is imperative that Premiership status is maintained.
“Barry gives us the time and space required to get the business end tied up as we plan for the long-term future.
“Further statements will be made in due course."
