Former Rangers skipper Barry Ferguson admits he was left disappointed by unsavoury videos that emerged from George Square on Saturday night.
Footage of what appeared to show a section of Ibrox revellers in running battles with each other came to light in the hours after Steven Gerrard 's side were presented with the Premiership trophy.
Ferguson, however, also made an impassioned case for the vast majority of the club's followers as they celebrated after a decade in the shadows as they ended Celtic 's vice-like grip on Scottish football.
But the Kelty Hearts boss was also dismayed by the in-fighting witnessed on Saturday evening in the city centre as politicians, the public and the club themselves lined-up to condemn a series of flashpoints that unfolded amid a global pandemic.
Speaking on Go Radio, the Ibrox icon said: "What disappointed me is, fighting among each other.
"It's your club, your club have just won the championship for the first time in a long, long time, it baffles me why they want to fight among each other.
"Listen, it is far too much drink, that's the reason.
"As I said, it's a small minority who ruin it for everybody else who just want to go and do things properly."
