Rangers legend Barry Ferguson insists no players will leave Ibrox unless a "crazy" offer arrives in January.
And as far as Joe Aribo is concerned, that means an opening bid of at least eight figures.
The Nigeria international stole the show against Livingston as he seemed to enjoy an advanced central role and more freedom to pile forward.
It's one of a few tweaks Gio van Bronckhorst has utilised to get his Rangers side going with two wins from two to start the Dutch manager's reign.
And Alloa boss Ferguson reckons Aribo commands an asking price of at least £10million, such is his importance to the champions.
Speaking on the Go Radio Football Show, Ferguson said: "You're looking at over £10million.
"Depends how long he's got left on his contract, he might have a couple of years, I'm not sure.
"You know you've got a chance of losing your best players. If they perform well up here, teams down in England are going to come in and pay big money.
"But, for me, you're looking at over £10million for Joe Aribo."
Record Sport columnist Ferguson also doubled down on an assertion he made while Steven Gerrard was the Ibrox boss — and he's adamant Van Bronckhorst won't have the rug pulled from under him in the form of a winter sale.
"I don't think Rangers will sell in January," he assured the panel.
"Unless it's a crazy offer, well above their valuation, I don't think Rangers will sell a player in January.
"That £40million carrot is getting dangled. Keep your best players and go for it. I think that's what Rangers will do."
