The Celtic fans were out in force on the last Hotline before the final Old Firm clash of the season.
And most of them were as interested in dissing Rangers' title win as they were about their team trying to beat their rivals for the first time this season.
Jack Armstrong emailed: "I wish Barry Ferguson and the rest would stop calling Rangers invincible. Come on, you were put out the League Cup and the Scottish Cup and won the league in an unprecedented season. Look at what Celtic did in 2016-17 - that's invincible."
Brian McColligan said: "Big Jock said “Football without fans is nothing”. How very true. Man City and Rangers coped, Liverpool and Celtic didn’t - but they both didn’t become bad teams overnight , so I think that proves a point that it was the circumstances that had a major effect on the results."
Bud Hay, Dumfries , emailed: "We've heard that Rangers have won one trophy out of nine - what about the other three in Europe? That makes it one in 12. Celtic will be back."
Gordon Ashley, Ayr, added: "Yesterday was a vintage day for one-liners from the Rangers comedy club. We had belters like, 'Rangers have broken Celtic after landing their first trophy', and my personal favourite, 'Celtic wont challenge Rangers for four years because they won one tainted, no fans, training game trophy'."
Paul McCormack, Coatbridge, DID want to talk about the game. He said: "Last chance on Sunday for Celtic players to show something at the end of this abysmal season.
"The fans are entitled to show apathy and indifference after a horrible year. The players are not. Go out and earn your wages this week by showing that you care."
Stephen Mulhern Dumbarton emailed: "The key to Celtic taking anything from the Old Firm game is leaving Diego Laxalt out with Greg Taylor coming in. He came with a high reputation from the Italian top flight and is a fine attacking full-back but can’t defend."
Michael Emonds, from Northampton emailed: "Jimmy Murray should seek help for his hatred of John Kennedy. He says Kennedy has tried umpteen jobs at Celtic and failed in every one, where’s his evidence? Kendo’s first coaching job was for one season with the Under-19s, he won the league and cup double, next three seasons with the development squad he won the league three times in a row.
"He then moved up to the first team and won six in a row with three different managers - two each with Deila, Brendan Rodgers, and Lennon, including quadruple Trebles. Peter Lawwell should have given him the top job when Rodgers left and he could have carried on the good practices that Rodgers put in place."
Rangers fan John Bruce emailed: "Rangers fans are already on a high having won 55; stopped the much vaunted 10IAR; had another impressive run in Europe; and are three games away from an unbeaten league season.
"But on Sunday, Rangers can help their fans celebrate the end of the season even more - and deflate dejected Celtic fans even further - by ensuring that Celtic go through their season without having beaten Rangers in any of the Old Firm games. So Rangers fans could be in for an incredible end to a momentous season."
Finally, George Macfarlane, Strathaven , said: "Great news about the Jags winning the League One championship. Thought you’d like to mention in your column. Well done the Jags."
