Barry Diller: 'editorship is a good thing'

Media mogul Barry Diller, talking enthusiastically about the internet, retains an affection for a role that many digital revolutionaries believe has had its day. "Editorship is a good thing," said the man who created the Fox TV network and who now chairs Expedia and the IAC/InterActiveCorp. But there are editors and editors, of course, and Diller is no shrinking violet. As he told the New York magazine: "The role of editorship is going to grow.
