Barry Cahill: Police grow 'concerned' for missing West Lothian man last seen on Monday

Police in West Lothian have issued an urgent appeal to help locate a missing 29-year-old man.

Officers have stated they are growing "increasingly concerned" for Barry, who was last seen in Livingston.

The last reported sighting of Barry was in the Ladywell area of West Lothian at around 9.30pm on Monday (October 12).

Since then, neither Barry's friends or family have heard from him.

Police have now urged the public to help look for Barry, with anyone with any information regarding his whereabouts urged to contact officers on 101.

Barry has been described as a white male, 6ft in height, slim build with short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a black top, dark blue jeans, a puffy jacket which is dark blue and grey and brown boots. He may be carrying a rucksack.

In a statement by West Lothian Police, it said:

"Barry’s family and friends are growing increasingly concerned.

"Anyone who has seen Barry or has information as to his whereabouts is encouraged to contact Police on 101, quoting reference number 1422 13/10/20."
