Stendel will be without goalkeeper Sami Radlinger for at least two more months after the shotstopper picked up a ligament injury against Luton Town that will keep him out to December.
He joins Kenny Dougall on the list of players still not eyeing a comeback, with the Australian still continuing to recover from a broken leg.
Hopeful to feature
Bambo Diaby could be set to return after missing the Wigan encounter following a collision in the loss to Luton, having been assessed during the international break.
Jacob Brown and Cauley Woodrow are both also further expected to be in the mix, though given the former's lengthy lay-off, he is unlikely to be rushed back into action.

Jordan Williams made his return to the matchday squad against Wigan following his spell out of the game and while he was an unused substitute, he is fully tipped to be included once again for the visit of Leeds.
