Barnsley boss Markus Schopp believes it is good for English football for Bolton Wanderers to be 'coming back' after promotion last season.
Wanderers sealed a place in League One with automatic promotion out of the fourth tier of English football last season thanks to a top three finish behind Cheltenham Town and Cambridge United.
The Whites got their campaign off to a start over the weekend with a draw against MK Dons and return to the University of Bolton Stadium for the second time in the space of four days when they take on the Tykes in the first round of the Carabao Cup.

And the Barnsley boss says his side have done their homework on what to expect from Ian Evatt's side this evening, believing it is a good thing for English football to have Wanderers on the rise again.
Speaking to the Barnsley Chronicle, Schopp said: "We did good research on them. We know where they are coming from, they had a tremendous season last year.
"It's good for English football to have a team like Bolton coming back. We will be really well-prepared. We will be ready."
The likes of Obbi Oulare, Aaron Leya Iseka, Devante Cole and Herbie Kane were not in the squad which drew 1-1 on the road against Cardiff City for Barnsley's Championship curtain raiser.
And the Tykes boss may well give some of those players an opportunity this evening.
He said: "It is very likely that some of the guys get a chance to play. They will get a couple of minutes, probably a bit more.
"We will have a good mix of the players who played on Saturday and the players who did not play.
"We have a couple of players who were not 100 per cent fit on the weekend but they are fitter now. There are a couple of positions where I want to see how they are doing, not just in training but in a game."
