Police have arrested a third person in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man who is the third brother from the same family to be murdered in London violence.

David Bello-Monerville, 38, was stabbed to death when two groups attacked each other with blades, chains and broom handles during a street battle close to his family home in Barnet.

Detectives today arrested a 27-year-old man who handed himself into police on suspicion of murder, three counts of Grevious Bodily Harm and aggravated burlgary.

Another 27-year-old man and a 26-year-old man have been charged with aggravated burglary in connection with the incident.

(L-R) David Bello-Monerville, Joseph Burke-Monerville, and Trevor Monerville were all victims of London violence.

David’s mother, Linda Burke-Monerville, rushed to the scene earlier this month sobbing and shouting: “Not another son!”, according to neighbours.

Six years ago, David was in a car with his 19-year-old twin brothers Joseph and Jonathan Burke-Monerville when a gunman fired three times.

Joseph was shot in the head and died in hospital in what police believe was a case of mistaken identity.

In 1994, a third brother Trevor Monerville, 26, died after being repeatedly stabbed in a Hackney street by five men.

None of the brothers’ killers have so far been brought to justice.
