Barnet stabbing: Girl, 14, left with life-changing injuries after being slashed across face in coroner's court car park

A 14-year-old girl has been left with life-changing injuries after she was slashed across the face outside a north London coroner’s court, police said.

Three girls, two aged 15 and another aged 16, have been charged with grievous bodily harm following the attack in the car park of Barnet coroner's court.

One of the 15-year-olds has also charged with possessing a blade.

The victim, who police believe is known to the suspects, was slashed in the face with a knife in the car park in Wood Street shortly before 7pm on Tuesday.

She was rushed to hospital where she remains being treated for life-changing injuries, Scotland Yard said.

The three suspects, from Barnet, Wood Green and Haringey, were arrested at two addresses in Haringey later that night.

They were kept in custody to appear at Willesden Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
