A sex predator who molested two women has been spared jail.
Abdalla Awad pounced on his victims during separate attacks in August and December 2018.
One of the women was eventually raped by an associate of the 23-year-old student.
Awad, of the city's Barmulloch, was today sentenced at the High Court in Glasgow.
He had previously been convicted of two charges of sexual assault.
Judge Simon Collins imposed a community payback order and told Awad he must carry out 300 hours of unpaid work.
The pervert will also be supervised for two years. He will further be tagged for four months.
The judge said: "All of this will be imposed as an alternative to a custodial sentence."
The first attack occurred at a flat in Glasgow's Springburn.
Awad molested the vulnerable woman before Ahmed Haji, 31, raped her.
Haji was locked up for five years last month after being convicted of the crime.
Awad struck again months later as this victim awoke to find her onesie outfit unzipped.
This happened at a flat in Woodlands.
Jurors heard it took the woman "a moment to realise" what was happening before Awad stopped.
The woman told a friend before alerting detectives.
Brian Fitzpatrick, defending, today said: "He was studying at college doing a course in event management.
"He hopefully has a future to continue with his education."
