Bargain shop's genius way to get children to eat veg, with Peppa Pig

Parents facing a daily battle to get their young children to eat vegetables have been given a helping hand, thanks to bargain retailer B&M.

If you have a child who thinks five a day means five episodes of their favourite cartoon, rather than five portions of fruit and veg, then this is for you.

The cut-price shop famous for its bargains has just started selling an exclusive range of peas and potatoes shaped like Peppa Pig, reports The Mirror .

And the dinner favourite is already proving a hit with parents as more than 35,000 have commented on a Facebook post launching the new range.

The new range won't break the bank with the mixed peas and carrots selling for £1.,25 and the potatoes going for £1.

After B&M shared the news of the launch on their Facebook page yesterday it was inundated with comments from excited mums and dads who said this was well worth a try in their dinner table battles.

Around 5,000 people have shared the post, tagging in their friends and suggesting young Peppa fans who might be converted to veg and potatoes.

Exclusively available at B&M, the new Peppa Pig frozen food range is already in stock, but you will need to double check that your local has a frozen food section in order to get your hands on them.

The discounter has 600 stores in the UK but only 85 will stock the frozen goodies, so it's worth calling your nearest branch first before heading out.
