Bargain-loving mum shares list of places where kids can eat for free this summer

Parents on a popular bargain-loving Facebook group have been praising a shopper who compiled a list of restaurants and cafes where kids can eat for free this summer.

While schools are on their summer break, kids don't have always access to free food and meals as they would do in term time and as a result there is often pressure on parents and caregivers to find budget-friendly alternatives.

However, as one savvy-shopper shared, there are loads of high street supermarkets, cafes and restaurants that do special deals where kids can either eat for free or for less.

The post on the bargain and couponing Facebook group has now been liked over 2.1k times with over 1k comments of support for the list.

The list highlights all the places that offer nationwide discounts for children making a trip out for lunch or dinner affordable for those on low incomes or tight budgets.

The original post said: "Those struggling over the holidays don’t forget the following places are doing free kids meals when an adult pays."

The full list is as follows:

  • Morrisons - free kids meals with an adult meal after 3pm adult spending £4.50
  • Asda - free kids meal with an adult spending £3.50
