Bargain hunters spot four new KFC deals including a £5 Boneless Banquet

Bargain hunters have spotted four new discounts on the KFC Colonel Club App and it is good news for chicken fans.

Users of HotUKDeals have spotted a quartet of discounts on the Boneless Banquet box meal, the 10-piece Family Feast bucket, the Mighty Bucket for one and the Snackbox Hotwings.

The discounts bring the price of a Boneless Banquet to just £5, while the 10-piece Family Feast is now £14.99 when ordering through the app.

A Mighty Bucket for one is now £5.49 and the hot wings are £1.49 under the new offers.

The price cuts will be available for all customers until 23 August and are live now.

Earlier this month KFC announced it would be cutting the price of some meals because of £4.1 billion of VAT cuts introduced by the government until January 2021.The cut, which will remain in force until January 12, was revealed alongside plans to give people a 50 per cent discount, up to £10 per head, to eat out in restaurants in August.

KFC said it would cost the price of buckets by £1 and some favourites by 50p in response to the news.

Other chains including Nandos and McDonalds have also announced their intentions to cut prices as a result of the VAT cuts.

McDonald’s says it will cut the price of Happy Meals by 30p and breakfast meals by 50p, with price cuts also recommended for Big Macs, Quarter Pounders and McNuggets.

Nando’s said it will pass on “100 per cent of the benefits” from the tax break to its customers, helping to reduce the price of a quarter chicken by 55p.
