A bargain-hunting shopper has shared a helpful tip to ensure customers can bag their Sainsbury's coupons before doing the big shop.
Doing the weekly shopping can feel like an inconvenience at the best of times, so we're all on the lookout for ways to make it that bit easier.
Coupons and points cards can be a huge help when it comes to making a saving - but not when the offers spill out of the machine seconds after you've already completed your shopping.
Sainsbury's shopper 'dazigster' has come to the aid of bargain hunters everywhere by revealing a crafty trick on website HotUKDeals that willl release your coupons in advance, as reported by Bristol Live .
In their post, they said: "turns out if you go to a self service till, scan your Nectar card and then immediately click "pay" without scanning any items, then the till just dumps out all the coupons Sainsbury's was due to give you (such as triple nectar points etc).
"You can then use them immediately."
As expected, the hack was met with many positive reactions.
One user named Wear_The_Fox_Hat said: "Doesn't surprise me that nobody has ever told us you could do this. Nice find op cheers", while others confirmed the findings, like kiwi12, who added: "It is [true] i used to work for Sainsbury's recently".
Another fan of the tip named juggler1 called it "a revelation".
