A bargain hunter has shared that she doesn't use toilet paper, and instead cleans herself with a spray bottle of soap and water.
Kate Hashimoto, who appeared on the TLC show Extreme Cheapskates, goes to extreme lengths to save money, including not buying underwear for over 20 years and sleeping on old yoga mats.
"I don't use toilet paper, I just use water and soap to wash myself off," she said on the programme.
Despite living in New York, one of the most expensive cities in the world, Kate gets by with spending just £145 ($200) a month on her living costs.

She said: "I have lived in New York for three years, although it's the most expensive city to live in I have found ways to get around it.
"If I have to spend money, I try and avoid it, I will try and pay as little as possible."
When she uses a public bathroom, she keeps the paper towels she used to dry her hands and reuses them.

Kate added: "I am drying off hands that I washed clean so I keep them and reuse them."
She said she has never bought furniture, and instead kitted out her home with furniture that was dumped in skips in the street.
Kate explained: "I furnished my place by picking up discarded furniture on the street before the trash picks it up, I have saved a couple of thousand dollars on furniture."

Her bed was crafted using old yoga mats and she's made a bedside table out of magazines.
Kate doesn't cook and instead uses her dishwasher and oven as storage space in her flat.
She said she doesn't buy new clothes and hasn't bought underwear for over two decades.

"I haven't bought any clothes in eight years," she added.
"The last time I bought underwear was 1998."
She hasn't done laundry in three years and the clothes she owns get washed in shower.
