With packing and wrapping and shopping to be done, and that's before we get to the inevitable Christmas catch up with friends you've not seen for too long, ordering a pizza for dinner has rarely been more tempting.
It's also expensive, with a large pizza frequently costing more than £20, and it was that price that saw one bargain-loving Brit go on a mission to track down every discount he could.
Tom Church, whose commitment to saving money once saw him spend an entire year living off discounted yellow-sticker supermarket food, researched more than 800 Domino's stores and then leaked his findings online .
“I got addicted to finding Domino’s pizza vouchers because, to be honest, the amount I was ordering started to hurt my wallet," Tom explained.
"It’s the only time I’ve ever wanted more voucher codes through my letterbox and so I started to collect them.
"Friends and family started asking for them too and it became a bit of thing. Pretty soon I had spreadsheets, then a database, which was then sorted by post code."
From there, it was a short step to creating the Domino's Discount Code tool - letting people put in their own post code to see what the best deals near them are.
"There’s about 32,000 Domino’s voucher codes which is pretty mad," Tom said.
And the better news is that as Christmas approaches, the deals are getting better.
"In the run up to Christmas Domino's seems to be increasing the value of its discount vouchers," Tom said.
"There's loads of stores which have promo codes giving 50% off or buy one get one free, which is normally pretty rare."
So if you do need a break from all the shopping, cooking and wrapping - at least you know you won't be paying more than you need to.
