Crystal Palace fans' long wait for a new full-back could soon be over.
The Eagles have been waiting for a replacement for Aaron Wan-Bissaka since the Palace academy product left the club last summer to join Manchester Untied in a £50million deal.
Joel Ward started the season as Palace's only senior right-back, but with the former Portsmouth man out injured in recent weeks, Martin Kelly has played out of position.
Palace boss Roy Hodgson has made no secret of the fact that he wanted to sign a full-back in the January transfer window, with the Eagles strongly linked with Tottenham defender Kyle Walker-Peters.
But it seems that Palace's search for a new right-back is coming to an end, with reports emerging that the Eagles have agreed a deal with Championship side West Brom to sign Nathan Ferguson.
It is understood that the deal could rise to around £10million with add-ons.
And that has gone down well with Palace fans, who have taken to social media to express their feelings on the possible transfer.
The 19-year-old England U20 international has impressed for Slaven Bilic's side this season, making 21 appearances for the Baggies.
His form has attracted attention from clubs in the Premier League and across Europe, although West Brom had offered him a five-year deal in a bid to ward off interest.
However, he is yet to sign a new contract and with his current deal set to expire in the summer, it is understood that West Brom would rather sell him this week before the deadline, than risk losing him for a nominal fee in the summer.
