Bargain Buys to close down with 20 per cent off everything

A Nailsea town centre discount store is set to close permanently.

Bargain Buys on High Street could shut as early as Tuesday (October 27), but the date is not yet confirmed, Bristol Live understands.

All prices are reduced by 20 per cent for a closing-down sale.

The store opened in February last year at the former Original Factory Shop site.

News of the impending closure prompted several comments expressing disappointment on Facebook's Nailsea Community Group.

One woman described the closure as "so sad", adding: "Another one bites the dust. I'll probably get lynched but let's have a Lidl or Aldi."

Another wrote: "I'm with you for Lidl or Aldi. The people, like me, who go to Clevedon, will then shop locally. And others will come to Nailsea to shop.

A third commented: "Bring back the Factory Shop, there was something for everyone."
