Bare-chested Gazza filmed arriving for I'm a Celeb in Italy

Ex Rangers player Paul Gascoigne looked in his element as he boogied along the boardwalk and jumped out of a helicopter for his new Italian reality show.

Gazza had to swim to a desert island for the Italian version of I’m a Celebrity alongside Italian celebrities on the show.

But despite his smiling face, Gazza told fellow contestants on L’Isola dei Famosi – the Island of the Famous, 'If i find a snake I'll leave".

Gazza, 53, showed off his toned buff body as he wore some pink shorts and danced long a boardwalk alongside fellow contestants in his team.

Telling his fellow contestants about his likes and dislikes the former midfielder who also played for England, said he was as an ex soccer player, scared of snakes, a fisherman, cheerful, nice, and a tennis player.

Gazza who jumped out of a helicopter to start the show, says he want to donate the 100,000 euros prize to a fund set up in memory of his nephew Jay Lennon Gascoigne who died from an overdose at the age of 22.

The show is filmed on the island of Cayo Cochinos, off the coast of Honduras and lasts for two months.

Gazza's Italian is limited and fellow contestant joked he only really knew the word serpente, despite him having spent three seasons with Rome-based club Lazio between 1992 and 1995

Gazza had to quarantine upon arrival in Honduras for two weeks and UK officials let him participate as it was a work-related venture and he is not travelling to countries on the red list.
