Victor Orta has long-term European ambitions for Leeds United
Leeds United are keen to expand globally, Victor Orta has revealed.
The Whites are back in the Premier League after a sixteen-year stay in the Football League and it has ignited the sense of ambition at Elland Road.
The club recently celebrated a new partnership with US entertainment organisaiton Roc Nation, in the hope it can put the club on a greater footing in North America and Asia.
"We want to grow in the States, we want to grow in Asia,” Orta said. “It’s one of the partnerships that shows where Leeds United is now, the year of the returning to the Premier League, [it's about finding] what kind of companies are going to find synergy with us."
"I feel really proud to make history [with promotion] and obviously I feel now relief because Leeds United are in the Premier League and that is the first step.
"Obviously we need sustainable growing and perhaps with sustainable growing we can put this team in a European competition in two or three years."
