Ousmane Dembele and Carles Alena have been left out of Barcelona’s squad for their trip to Levante in La Liga on Saturday.
Dembele is available again for the champions after a two-match ban, but does not make the 19-man list, while Alena is missing once again after being left out virtually every week since starting away to Athletic Club in Bilbao on the opening weekend of the season.
Young forwards Ansu Fati (who celebrated his 17th birthday on Thursday) and Carles Perez are both included in Dembele’s absence and could play some part on Saturday.
Antoine Griezmann looks set to return to the attack at the Ciutat de Valencia, having been only a substitute in the 5-1 win at home to Valladolid on Tuesday, but coach Ernesto Valverde warned the Frenchman on Friday that he would have to work for his starting spot.
Meanwhile, Samuel Umtiti had looked likely to be back from a bruised knee, but the France defender has been kept in reserve ahead of the Champions League clash at home to Slavia Prague on Tuesday.
In midfield, Arthur is included after he was rested altogether for the Valladolid match.
