Rashford missed Barca’s 4-0 La Liga win against Athletic Club on Saturday with flu but has returned to training and makes the substitutes list for the Champions League showdown at Stamford Bridge.

Raphinha is fit again but is also on the bench with Ferran Torres on the left and Lamine Yamal on the right either side of Robert Lewandowski.

Barca boss Hansi Flick this week said that joining Barcelona on loan from Manchester United has put the smile back on Rashford’s face.

Rashford has scored six times in all competitions this season and has made a positive impact in Spain since he move from Old Trafford.

Frenkie de Jong will also return against Chelsea after being suspended at the weekend, in another major boost for the Catalan giants.

Pedri is not fit to return and Gavi remains sidelined so Eric Garcia starts in midfield after impressing there against Athletic Club at the weekend.

Fermin Lopez will play ahead of Garcia and De Jong in midfield.

Ronald Araujo starts in defence, where Alejandro Balde is fit after being forced off at half-time at the weekend with a head injury.
