Barcelona 'want Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford' as Luis Suarez replacement - and more transfer rumours

Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford is one of three players on Barcelona’s summer wishlist, as they search for a successor to Luis Suarez, according to reports from Spain.

Barca are reported to be on the look out for new blood as Suarez, 32, is not getting any younger, and Mundo Deportivo say they have identified Eintract Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic, Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann, and Rashford as potential replacements.

It is not the first time Rashford has been linked with the La Liga giants, as the 21-year-old attracted attention from Barca and Real Madrid following his match-winning performance for England vs Spain in October

Rashford was struggling for game time at United, however, reports have died down since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over as the 21-year-old has impressed as a central striker.

Gareth Bale, Jadon Sancho and the 46 players ‘tipped’ for Manchester United transfer

Now, though, suggestions of a move to La Liga are back with Mundo Deportivo reporting that Barcelona could test United’s resolve by making a bid for the England international - who is seen as a player who would fit the Barcelona system well.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing United midfielder Ander Herrera on a free transfer in the summer.

Herrera is out of contract at the end of the season, and is yet to agree a new deal.

The Daily Mail report that Herrera wants to increase his wages from £80,000 to around £150,000, but that United are reluctant to agree to those terms.

PSG have reportedly spoken to Herrera’s representatives, and now Arsenal are said to be in the queue for the Spaniard.

Finally, United will resist any bids for Paul Pogba this summer, despite his recent comments that it would be a 'dream' to play for Real Madrid.

That prompted plenty of speculation into his future, but ESPN report United will not entertain any bids for the World Cup winner in the summer and are preparing to open contract talks with Pogba over a new deal.
