The Camp Nou hosts the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final showdown between two of club football’s fiercest rivals, with Barca holding a slender advantage in the last-four tie after Eder Militao’s decisive own goal at the Bernabeu last month.
Xavi’s runaway LaLiga leaders also came out on top in the last top-flight contest on home soil on March 19, with Franck Kessie netting a dramatic late winner after Sergi Roberto had cancelled out an own goal from Ronald Araujo, opening up a 12-point gap at the summit in a big step towards their first title since 2019.

Barcelona also beat Madrid 3-1 in Saudi Arabia to win the Spanish Super Cup in January, having lost the opening Clasico of the season by the same scoreline back in October. Both rivals scored big wins over Elche and Valladolid respectively at the weekend, setting the stage for a colossal showdown this evening as Real desperately try to stop Barca from inching closer to a memorable domestic treble.
