Nicolas Pepe will not make his Arsenal debut against Barcelona after the club-record signing was left out of Unai Emery's 21-man squad for the Joan Gamper Trophy.
Arsenal take on Barca at Camp Nou on Sunday evening, but £72million signing Pepe will play no part against the Spanish champions.
While Arsenal fans may be disappointed not to see their new winger in full flight at Camp Nou, there was better news elsewhere as Lucas Torreira made the trip along with Mesut Ozil and Sead Kolasinac.
Uruguay midfielder Torreira is yet to feature in pre-season after having an extended break following the Copa America, but is available tonight.
Ozil and Kolasinac are also available for selection having been granted time off following a recent attempting car-jacking in north London.
Alexandre Lacazette misses out as expected, although Arsenal are confident the striker will be fit for the club's first game of the Premier League season against Newcastle next weekend.
Arsenal squad in full: Leno, Martinez, Maitland-Niles, Chambers, Sokratis, Mustafi, Monreal, Kolasinac, Thompson, Ceballos, Guendouzi, Torreira, Xhaka, Willock, Mkhitaryan, Nelson, Ozil, Martinelli, Saka, Aubameyang, Nketiah
