Barcelona are set to announce their first senior summer signing on Tuesday, according to Sport .
The Catalans are bringing in Valencia goalkeeper Neto to act as understudy to their No.1 Marc Andre ter Stegen, with Dutch goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen going the other way to the Mestalla.
The report adds that the pair won't be announced at the same time though, with Neto's switch going through first, followed by Cillessen's.
With the whole operation expected to cost around €25million, the reason for the staggered switches is to ensure that Neto's signing appears on the club's accounts for the 2018/19 season - which ends on June 30 in their books - and Cillessen's sale counts towards the accounts and the budget for the 2019/20 campaign.
As such, Cillessen isn't expected to officially complete his switch until at least July 1, although the arrival of Neto effectively confirms the former Ajax goalkeeper's departure for Valencia, where he is expected to be their new No.1.
Neto, who has one cap for Brazil, was Valencia's first-choice gloveman in La Liga for the past two seasons, but a row with coach Marcelino over his rotation policy for the cup competitions led to him looking towards the exit.
No.2 stopper Jaume Domenech started the 2-1 Copa Del Rey final victory over Barca last month, leaving an angry Neto looking towards the exit door.
Dutch international first-choice Cillessen - who was in goal for Barca in that match - has played 32 times for the Catalans in his three years at the club, but only five of those matches were in La Liga.
He'll be joining a Valencia side who will play in the Champions League next season having finished fourth in La Liga.
