Barcelona midfielder Pedri has admitted he is lucky to play alongside Thiago Alcantara ahead of Spain's Euro 2020 semi-final clash with Italy.
The 18-year-old has been one of the standout performers at this summer's European Championships, starting every match for Luis Enrique's with only an 119th minute substitution in their quarter-final victory over Switzerland denying him ever-present status.
In contrast, Liverpool midfielder Thiago has been forced to settle for a role on the bench with the teenager cementing his starting role ahead of the Reds midfielder.
And while he has had limited opportunities to play alongside the 30-year-old, Pedri was full of praise for his more experienced compatriot when sharing which players he admires in world football.
"I'm very lucky to play alongside Thiago," he told reporters. "It's wonderful to see him in training and wonderful to play with him.
"He has immense quality and I think everybody has seen that on television.
"In addition to Thiago, I have some fantastic team-mates right through the squad and I try to learn from all of them.
"I always look at lots of different players. I love watching football. I always look at players have have similar playing styles to me.
"I think you can really learn from anyone so I try to watch matches involving Italian players and all players."
