Barcelona star explains exactly why they want Neymar transfer to happen

Barcelona midfielder Rafinha Alcantara admits he would be "delighted" to see Neymar back at the club.

The Brazilian striker has been heavily linked with a Nou Camp return admit reports he wants to force his way out of Paris Saint-Germain.

Rafinha declared it is "obvious" he would like to see Neymar back and reunited with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez in their feared front three.

He explained the "unique" and "rare" understanding of the trio on the pitch means they would love to see Neymar slot back into their side.

The Brazil star also claimed they can "let them all come" when asked about Antoine Griezmann also making the move from Atletico Madrid.

"Come on, I mean that's obvious," Rafinha said about whether he'd like to see Neymar back at Barcelona .

"I would love him to come because what I saw with Neymar, [Lionel] Messi and [Luis] Suarez is something I've rarely seen on a football pitch.

"The understanding they have is unique, and it'd give the fans a chance to experience it.

"Personally, I would be delighted [if Neymar signed]."

Rafinha's future is also unclear as he is linked with a Barcelona exit.

He suffered an injury plagued year whilst Frenkie de Jong has arrived in his position - but he insists he is calm about his situation as he claimed he will play anywhere.

"I have a contract with Barcelona," he stated.

"Last year, in this very situation, I stayed here. I have a contract and I'm very calm.

"I've come back from an injury and what I want to do most is train with my teammates.

"I trust myself a lot and if I am okay, the opportunities will come.

"I went to Italy [on loan to Inter], for example, and I had a great time.

"I know both leagues [La Liga and Serie A] and I've adapted to both.

"I wouldn't have a problem going to any team."
