10-man Barcelona were resoundingly beaten 3-0 by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the Champions League.
Chelsea dominated the first half and made their pressure tell when Jules Kounde failed to clear Pedro Neto’s close-range flick.
Things went from bad to worse for the La Liga side on the stroke of half-time when captain Ronald Araujo was shown a second yellow card.
Chelsea added further goals through Estevao and Liam Delap in the second half to cap a torrid evening for the Blaugrana.
Sam Tabuteau rated the Barcelona players from Stamford Bridge...
Joan Garcia 5: Quick off his line, but there was nothing he could do about Chelsea’s goals.
Jules Kounde 3: Calamitous defending for the opener as he failed to clear Neto’s close-range flick.
Ronald Araujo 1: Nightmare performance. Sent off on the stroke of half-time for a second bookable offence. Should know better as captain.

Pau Cubarsi 4: Helpless to the Chelsea onslaught, and his task only got harder after Araujo’s dismissal. Burned by Neto on the counter, a flashpoint in a harrowing evening for the young defender.
Alejandro Balde 6: Made an excellent block from Fernaandez’s shot in the first half. Comfortable under pressure. Barcelona’s best player, though that is not saying much.
Eric Garcia 5: Run ragged in midfield, but at least tried to keep things ticking in the middle of the park, misplacing just one of his 32 passes.
Frenkie De Jong 3: Could not get to grips with Chelsea out of possession - committed the most fouls of any Barcelona player. Grew increasingly frustrated as the game wore on.
Lamine Yamal 3: A quiet evening for the young prodigy, who was completely upstaged by Estevao. ‘You’re just a s*** Estevao’ came the chants from the home fans. Jeered off the pitch late on.
Fermin Lopez 4: Failed to get up to speed as Chelsea’s midfield dominated. Did not win a single duel before being substituted after 62 minutes as Barcelona looked to shore up their defence.
Ferran Torres 4: Spurned a glorious opportunity inside six minutes. Did not do anything from that point on.
Robert Lewandowski 5: Held the ball up well to bring his team-mates into play early on. Drifted as Chelsea took charge. Had just two touches in the home box.

Substitutes:
Marcus Rashford 4: Could not turn the tide for 10-man Barca after the break. Managed just one touch in the opposition box and
Raphinha 4: Again, helpless to stop the hosts, who dominated from start to finish.
Andreas Christensen 4: A difficult return to Stamford Bridge for the former Blue. Thrown in to try and shore up the visiting defence, he could not prevent Delap from scoring the third goal.
Gerard Martin 4: With Barcelona a man down, it was nearly impossible for Martin to have the desired impact. He was anonymous as Chelsea pushed on in search of more goals.
Dani Olmo 4: A difficult performance at the weekend was compounded here. Had the second-fewest touches of any player on the pitch.
